Lemon And Coriander Soup Recipe (Vit C Rich) - How to prepare this flavorful soup with vegetables

Soup making I started with this Tarala Dalal's lemon and coriander soup. I find it so easy peasy, very relieving in cold or if you wanna enjoy something lemony, salty drink. Rich in Vit C helps to comfort in cold. Now my son enjoys having this too, so making it reminds me my old time. When me n hubby two of us used to enjoy our soup bowls with all romance, chit-chat and much more. I have not done any modification except stalk I used simple water. 


Prepare this flavorful lemon and coriander soup


Ingredients: Sufficient for four people

1 Lemon juice
1/4 Cup finely chopped coriander
2 Tsp finely chopped garlic 
2 Tsp finely chopped green chilies
1 Medium size onion finely chopped
1/4 Cup finely chopped cabbage
1/4 Cup finely chopped carrots
3 cups basic vegetable stock/normal water
Salt to taste
2 tsp cornflour dissolved in 2 tbsp water
2 Tsp oil
Step By Step preparation of lemon and coriander soup

Method: Heat the oil in a pan and add garlic. Fry it until the raw smell of garlic goes away. Add chopped onion and fry until color changes to golden. Add chopped cabbage and carrot. Fry it for 2-3 min. Keep stirring it.

Now add water, lemon juice, salt as per taste and corn flour. Mix well as corn flour tend to make lumps if not. Add chopped coriander and boil it for 5-6 mins.

Serve immediately, the goodness of Vit C, lemon, and coriander soup is ready. Do check other soup recipes as below

Note 1) Add black pepper if required.
2) You can skip adding corn flour.
